Developing Your Fundraising Plan/Athens

Hosted by OANO and the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio

Course Level: Everyone

Course Description:
It’s not an easy task to project how much money your organization might receive in funding in one particular year. A good plan can make that task a little easier. This workshop will give participants the tools needed to consider future funding needs, determine the best types of funding sources to meet those needs and how to go about securing those funds. Participants will also learn how to link annual fundraising budgets to monthly budgets and will also receive a sample fundraising plan.

About the Speaker:
Lori Hunter Overmyer, CFRE has twenty years of professional fund-raising experience with a focus on the arts, and human service organizations. Lori has developed an expertise in implementing annual and capital fund-raising plans, strategic analysis, major donor solicitation, and establishing development procedures to maximize effective operations and communications. She is skilled in marketing research, proposal writing, personal donor cultivation, recognition strategies and motivating board members to participate in the process.

Fees:
$25 for OANO Members
$50 for Nonmembers
(Register before April 10, 2008 and save$5!)
